The Mission of HBPA
The mission of Hickory Ballet & Performing Arts is to inspire and empower our community through Classical Ballet and the Performing Arts. We do so through:
- Four annual productions
- Collaborations with nonprofit partners
- Community outreach programming

Training Future Artists
Hickory Ballet & Performing Arts is dedicated to nurturing artists and performers of all ages through:
- Enrollment for students ages 2 to adult
- Classes in Acro, Ballet, Ballroom, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Jazz, Musical Theatre, PBT, Pointe, and Tap
- Opportunities for recreational or career-minded students
- Faculty that are highly qualified and take a holistic approach to each student’s development

We teach artists confidence, competency and creative expression in a nurturing environment using research-based, age-appropriate, classical instruction.
