The mission of Hickory Ballet & Performing Arts is to inspire and empower our community through Classical Ballet and the Performing Arts. We do so through:

  • Four annual productions
  • Collaborations with nonprofit partners
  • Community outreach programming
  • Downtown Hickory location

Training Future Artists

Hickory Ballet & Performing Arts is dedicated to nurturing artists and performers of all ages through:

  • Enrollment for students ages 2 to adult
  • Classes in Acro, Ballet, Ballroom, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Jazz, Musical Theatre, PBT, Pointe, and Tap
  • Opportunities for recreational or career-minded students
  • Faculty that are highly qualified and take a holistic approach to each student’s development
