Hickory Ballet & Performing Arts is thrilled to be offering multiple field trip performances this year of both our spring musical, The Lightning Thief, and our spring ballet, Degas and the Little Dancer. Tickets are $10 per student, with one free teacher admitted per 10 students! These performances are available to school groups only.

When teenager Percy Jackson discovers he’s a demigod, he and his friends embark on an epic journey to find Zeus’ missing lightning bolt and prevent a war among the gods.
Degas and the Little Dancer
Wednesday, April 22nd and Thursday, April 23rd, 9:00 AM and 11:30 AM at the Hickory Museum of Art
Target grades: K-5th
This young girl wants nothing more than to be a graceful ballerina. She models in exchange for her lessons with the famous artist, Edgar Degas.
In collaboration with the Hickory Museum of Art, students will learn about artwork of Degas, watch a ballet performance, and participate in an interactive art activity.
